Set within the residential landscape of Arabian Ranches, the Al Mahra project explores openness, light, and spatial continuity through carefully integrated glazing systems. The architecture prioritises visual connection while maintaining comfort, privacy, and environmental performance.

Triple-track thermal sliders spanning 8 metres.
Seamless indoor-outdoor flow
Large-format sliding systems are used to dissolve boundaries between interior living spaces and the outdoors, allowing natural light and views to shape the daily experience of the home. The clean detailing of the frames supports the overall architectural language, keeping the focus on proportion, materiality, and spatial flow.
Designed for long-term performance in a demanding climate, the systems contribute to thermal efficiency, smooth operation, and durability without interrupting the minimalist aesthetic. The result is a residence where architecture and engineering work quietly together to create fluid, comfortable living spaces.
Located within the established residential fabric of Arabian Ranches, the Al Mahra project is conceived as a contemporary interpretation of indoor–outdoor living, shaped by climate, light, and everyday movement. The architectural approach emphasises openness without exposure, balancing expansive views with controlled comfort.
The planning of the residence revolves around key living spaces that open outwards, allowing the landscape to become an extension of the interior. Large sliding openings play a central role in this strategy, enabling flexible spatial configurations that adapt to seasonal and daily use. When closed, the systems maintain thermal stability and acoustic comfort; when open, they dissolve boundaries and invite natural ventilation and light.
An architectural balance of scale, restraint, and performance, designed for modern residential living.
Material restraint defines the visual language of the project. Clean lines, neutral finishes, and minimal detailing allow the architecture to remain timeless, while the glazing systems integrate seamlessly into the built form. Slim profiles and precise alignments ensure uninterrupted sightlines, reinforcing the sense of openness throughout the home.
Given the regional climate, performance was a critical consideration. The installed systems are designed to withstand heat, wind, and dust while delivering consistent operation over time. Thermal efficiency and weather resistance are addressed without compromising on scale or visual clarity, ensuring that the architecture remains comfortable and functional year-round.
Beyond performance, the project reflects an attention to lived experience. Transitions between spaces are smooth and intuitive, with openings framed to enhance views and daylight rather than dominate the architecture. The result is a residence where technology supports design quietly—allowing space, light, and movement to define the character of the home.
